Lesson #1: Make sure you have enough Quik Grip BEFORE you start the project. That way you don't need to throw off your groove with a trip to Wal-Mart, midday. Everything is drying now, and we'll see how we did tomorrow (didn't make that 2nd trip to Wal-Mart, so we'll see if everything stays together).
Lesson#2: When picking out canvases that you'll be gluing to larger canvases, check the edges and corners to make sure they are wrapped similarly around their frames. I think I may have to screw one of the 8" x 8"s to the larger canvas because, with the way the corners are wrapped, I can't get all four of them to be flush with the back canvas.
In the meantime, with a few things I picked up at the dollar store, I'm hoping to recreate something I saw in a Pottery Barn magazine. So tune in for "Fall Harvest Candle Holders" or whatever I decide to name it by the time I'm done.
